Responsibilities of Lab Manager/ Executive/Technician in Textile Mill

  • Manage the operation of Textile Laboratory on a day to day basis with specific emphasis on quality, productivity, formula accuracy & consistency
  • Research & develop dyeing/wet processing/finishing procedures to improve formula accuracy & overall product quality
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure good communication & cooperation
  • Ensure all laboratory resources are utilized efficiently & correctly
  • Support Ready for Processing/Printing chemist/color man to prepare formulate, evaluate, & develop new & / or modified products & processes. Ability & willingness to work with chemicals in formulation development work.
  • If necessary training & safe work procedures will be provided
  • Has to be perform for any kind of test
  • Time to time need to be update of any kind of new requirements & will arrange training for all LAB personnel
  • Performs testing on trail runs of experimental & modified products & qualifications trails of new product/process
  • scale-up experiments in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of tests performed & the results of such tests
  • Plans work efficiently so that results are obtained in a timely fashion. Ability to work in multi-tasks LAB work on projects that are substantially different
  • Accountable for preparing samples performing tests & reporting results in a timely fashion
  • Accountable for writing reports summarizing results, data & condition of test procedures used.
  • Practice all health & safety procedures, policies & practices
  • Practice excellent housekeeping. Maintain a clean, hygienic & organized LAB
  • Attend all require safety training
  • Participate in or lead the LAB safety initiative

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum graduate/postgraduate/Textile Engineering
  • Graduation in Textile wet processing

Experience Requirements

  • 5 to 10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Chemist
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Textile (Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing/Finishing)

Additional Job Requirements

  • Age 30 to 45 years (s)
  • In-depth knowledge of reactive, pigment, dispersed dyes, and auxiliaries. Continuous and exhaust back process and procedures
  • Given preference to experienced candidate
  • In-depth knowledge of reactive/dispersed dyes and auxiliaries. Continuous and exhaust dyeing process and procedures
  • Foreigners may apply (Both)
  • Pro-active and problem solver
  • Vast knowledge of all types of LAB types of equipment & operational software
  • Capable of solving fabric quality problems and creating new ideas: options & alternative
  • Excellent knowledge of written & spoken English
